Getting quiet ::: she found her voice

I have always been intrigued by the practice of meditation, but my inner(critic) would also remind me that I dont know how to mediatate, therefore I would feel defeated before I even tried it.Upon the encouragement of my girlfriend Korey I recently attended
"Seduction of Spirit"meditation retreat, in beautiful Sedona Arizona.
The life-changing Seduction of Spirit retreat is a rare opportunity to learn the secrets of meditation, unlock the stillness that rests within your soul, and connect to your inner essence like never before.
Meditation has become a daily practice, beauty in this is you "practice" calm quiet stillness.
Meaning the more you do it the more you are able to achieve this life changing peace.
The Chopra Center website offers a free meditation for 21 days, daily sending you a link and inviting you to guided meditation practice led by the soothing, comforting encouraging David Ji.
So, the above journal page I created upon my return from Sedona, I experienced many healing interactions, but by far the most rewarding was finding my voice, feeling safe to express my feelings and needs- feeling my throat chakra release and my heart open.
Interestingly enough the throat chakra is a channel of creativity
( among other empowering gifts)
I realized I could meditate before I create and listen to my soul, open and expand the flow
and witness what the universe has to tell me::::
More to come, I can feel it!

Hello my beautiful sister,
What a wonderful post. I'm so glad you have been able to experience the mediation and have made it a part of your life. I really should check into it. :)
I've attached a link below to Terri's next class in San Diego. Will you be attending? I know that it is super close to Thanks giving and we still have to firm up plans. I guess it would be best to call you to discuss further.
