My Hearts a Flutter

    I recently moved to Healdsburg Ca- it is rich with art, amazing food, fabulous hiking and super yummy shopping

Upon exploring downtown Santa Rosa I happen to come across Carolina & Co

a beautiful boutique filled with all my hearts desire, the shop owner Carol Prezel is super fun, its obvious she has found her niche

being a ribbon fanatic i couldn't help but squeal at her selection

 The shop offers custom embroidery as well, wich can be found on their website

             The larger striped ribbon is made from fabric - beautiful body and color:::

i couldn't pass up the Bee ribbon, too fun

I have been doing a lot of travel this past year with this certain "Brave Boy" whom I adore::::

everything tends to center around the great outdoors, lots of amazing hikes surrounded by my most favorite inspiration- Tree's

here are some of the beginnings of this metal journal, that I will bind after I complete the pages, allowing for the bulkiness of leaves and organic treasures

everything that i love, copper solder metal findings, even a little paint

loving my yarn ::

Created a resting place for my yarn, covered a wood art board with plaster :technique I learned from the amazing Stephanie Lee's "Plaster Studio"

Added some vintage clothespins attached with magnets to wrap my fav ribbon and string around

small shelf is cardboard covered in plaster mesh- more Stephanie genius::::::::

vintage spoon madness

I have this obsession with tarnished silverware, I literally have boxes of vintage cutlery.

My new focus is to create displays for my collections, then I get the joy of being visually surrounded by this yumminess::

I just simply E600'd the spoons directly onto particle board, i didn't measure spaces out evenly as i wanted to create a less than perfect charm

Now that i am actually doing something with my tarnished silver dolls, i have even more reason to continue to search and discover more:)
